The necessity of an island
opening in Milan at Stecca degli Artigiani Art Center. An exhibition with
Love Difference Milan Office. From February 28
"The necessity of an island" is the exhibition opening
the new year of activity at Isola Art Center; from February 28 onwards,
Isola dell’Arte presents new projects realized by subjects, working
constantly within the Center’s spaces: out, Millepiani,
Stazione Isola, Sugoe, Love Difference, Osservatorio in Opera. Special
guest the White Project Gallery from Pescara, presenting Picnic#3.
Love Difference - Artistic Movement for an Inter-Mediterranean Politic,
will present through its Office in Milan an ongoing project, that will
be experimented and implemented by the presence and the participation
of the public. The look is focused on Milan, through the lens of time
and of the multiplicity of means, that time assumes a person’s lifetime.
Especially for this event, out office, together with the philosophy
magazine Millepiani, present the philosophical-multidisciplinary
workshop "Urban becoming". Stazione Isola is a project in progress,
curated by Katia Anguelova and Stefano Boccalini, working on a "tourist
guide" of the Isola district in Milan: on display, routes suggested
by Stefano Boccalini, Group 11:27, Paola Ceretta, Giovanni Giaretta, Camilla
Micheli, Gionata Gesi Ozmo, Sarleti Angel, Claudia Sinigaglia, Alessandro
Nassiri Tabibzadeh, Michela Taleggi. Sugoe is a workshop for young artists
and designers, that opened one year ago in the Center: they will present
more than ten works of art and unpublished designs, some of which realized
in contact with the physical space of the Art Center. Osservatorio in
Opera offers a reflection by Piero Almeoni, Paola Sabatti Bassini and
Roberta Sisti, on works of art destroyed through direct or indirect premeditated
action.
Special guest the White Project Gallery from Pescara, presenting Picnic#3.
The exhibition open on Tuesday the 28th
of February, until March 16th. Special metings and events are programmed
during the opening of the exhibition.
