RAM LIVE: Art is radiophonic
Ram Live is the place and instrument - mediatic, visual and audio junction and transmission of experiences and memories. An area of an ethic listening, even before than an aesthetic listening.
Since 2002, RAM radioartemobile gives voice to the works and protagonists of visual arts and sound, using the strategies of a network, founding itself as a platform of living, in the plurality of voices and international exchange of practices.
Ram Live (directed by Ilary Valbonesi, assisted by Lionello Riccardi) represents a new chapter of radio-mobile-art and a unique phenomenon on an international scale. The schedale is characterized by a continuous stream, broadcasted 24 hours on web streaming and with a monthly podcast, a selection and remix from sound archives SAM and RAM, interviews, historical records, folk music, Field Recordings , Artist monographs, cultural programs.
Leitmotif of the schedule in October will be the subject of the voice, wthin the political point of vew of an ethics of sounds: from the Beat revolution to the Black Panthers, with interviews of the protagonists of the American cultural revolution; a space for reflection with Michelangelo Pistoletto and his multicultural Mediterranean; Carla Accardi and Gianna Nannini in Moscow; RAM’s travel diaries in Tunisia and in China; the geography of sound in FLUSSORAM.
