Gulliver Connect mobility programme for
artists: deadline for applications: 15 December 2008
The Central European Foundation (Bratislava),
KulturKontakt (Austria) and The Felix Meritis Foundation (Amsterdam)
have launched a call for applications to Gulliver Connect, a mobility
programme through work placements for young and up-coming artists,
art managers and cultural operators in Europe.
Owing to a large network of cultural organisations throughout Europe
and beyond, Gulliver Connect offers hands-on work experience. It makes
a unique contribution by providing an extensive range of host organisations
to match the individual talents of young people. And it enables the
host organisations to find valuable working partners in future.
This call is open for applications by visitors and/or host organisations
from Albania, Austria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia,
Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia,
Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Ukraine. Candidates are arts practitioners
with 2-3 years working experience in the field of performing arts,
visual arts, (new) media, arts management, film as well as project
co-ordination, art development or management at a local/regional level
in their country, who want to add an international dimension to their
work.
Bursaries of approximately 1.500 euros each will be available to cover
the costs for the work placement, travel, accommodation and daily
allowance for a period of 3 – 6 weeks, if feasible within the
budget. The deadline for applications is 15 December 2008.
