Dialogue: The empathy of the parties – Elective Affinities. Sète, Regional centre for Contemporary Art, until the 8th of March 2009
A collective exhibition at the Center Régional d'Art Contemporain de Sète (France) from January 17th to March 8th 2009. The show, produced in collaboration with the Art Center La Panera (Lleida, Spain) shows the affinity between the work of Catalan painter Miquel Mont and other artists whose practices are other than painting. The common thread among these artists is to renew the primary experience of the viewer toward the construction of the work.
The artistic committee of the exhibition is composed by Noëlle Tissier, Miquel Mont, Gloria Picazo. Artists: Miquel Mont, Yann Beauvais, Neal Beggs, Ángela de la Cruz, Christophe Cuzin, Hassan Darsi, Juan Antonio Hernández Diez, Miguel Angel Molina, Marylene Negro, Jesús Palomino, Irene van de Mheen, Emmanuelle Villard.
Hassan Darsi, Moroccan artist founder of the project La Source du Lion, presents the work Off des élections - nuancier politique, an artistic proposal born after the Moroccan elections of 2007.
