Residencies Artegiovane Italy-India 2010. Deadline for applications: 30 September
The program of Residency Artegiovane Italy-India provides an opportunity for an Italian artist, or a foreign artist living in Italy, to spend 3 months in India as a guest of the Khoj International Artist's Association - Delhi. Selected artist will also have the opportunity to visit the cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennay, to experience the artistic and social culture of these places and India: the visits in these cities of India, lasting approximately one month, will be defined depending on the type of program and the work that the artist intends to achieve. During his stay in India, the artist will conduct the program selected by the Commission, assisted by a coordinator for the Indian logistics and local contacts and an editor / critic of proven international experience for the organization and the curatorship of the exhibition, which will be realized at the end of the residency in the spaces of the Khoj International Artist's Association. The program presented will be focused on one of the following topics: healthy diet, sustainable environment and energy, sustainable architecture. The winner will be awarded a scholarship of € 2,000; the organizing board will also cover lodging, study, round-trips, travel costs, and the production costs for a maximum amount of € 6000. The period of residency in India will go from January to April 2010. Deadline for submission of applications: 30 September 2009.
