Albanian Bridge: dialogue between Adrian Paci and Driant Zeneli. Trieste, Studio Tommaseo, 23 November 2009
Organized by the Trieste Contemporanea and Officina Brainwork Project in collaboration with Studio Tommaseo and with the support of Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia, "Albanian Bridge" is a dialogue between Adrian Paci and Driant Zeneli, as part of the tenth edition of the „Young Emerging European Prize - Trieste Contemporanea“ at the conclusion of the exhibition "The Dream of Icarus was to make a Cloud". Albanian artist Adrian Paci will meet his younger colleague Driant Zeneli, winner of the 2009 edition of the Trieste Contemporanea Prize. The meeting will be conducted by Julia Trolp.
Adrian Paci, born in 1969, and the young fellow Driant Zeneli (1983) were both born in Shkodra. The first had his artistic education in Albania, while the second in Italy. Their common and different experiences, evidence of recent changes in their country and the most comprehensive change in the facts of art, will be compared.
