The “City and Art Project” website reports that three new social virtual networks have been established in order to enhance and facilitate existing communication, cooperation and visibility aspects of the culture and arts scene at the European level. Artcitizens.net is designed for artists; Artacademia.net is designed for art and design academia; and Citizensofculture.net is designed for culture and arts actors. The sites are part of the City and Art Project funded by the EU Promotion of Civil Society Dialogue Programme. The general aim of the project is to create communication platforms among art universities of the EU and Turkey for networking and to foster sustainable co-operations, exchange of information, sharing knowledge and good practices.
