Love Difference table football with Radioartemobile at the contemporary art fair MiArt: Milan, 25-27 March 2010
At the opening of Milan Contemporary Art fair MiArt 2010 on Thursday the 25th of March, RAM radioartemobile will host in its stand (L03 pad.4) at 6 p.m. a match at Love Difference table-football (read more about this project), designed by Michelangelo Pistoletto in collaboration with Diego Paccagnella. Andera Pirlo and Massimo Ambrosini of AC Milan and AC Milan's general manager, Ariedo Braida, will play in the match, together with representatives from the world of culture, industry, fashion, design and information. With Love Difference table football, the game becomes an opportunity to meet and reflect on the complexity of the different cultures of the Mediterranean. The playground is a mirror with the outline of the Mediterranean Sea. The players wear 22 different t-shirts, representing the the 22 national teams of the Countries surrounding the Mediterranean.
Around the table football, which is at the public’s disposal, there will be Love Difference-Alias chairs and the Mediterranean carpets (designed by Love Difference and Gudran after an idea by Michelangelo Pistoletto), along with works by Getulio Alviani, Domenico Bianchi, Alberto Garutti, H.H. Lim, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Annie Ratti, Donatella Spaziani, Franz West and Erwin Wurm. Radio commentary of the meetings, conducted by well-recognised Italian journalist Bruno Pizzul, will be broadcast live by RAM LIVE, on the web. The pinball matches will continue on 26 and 27 of March, featuring other distinguished guests.
