Good practices: Public Art Lab, a creative community
As reported in Esterni.org, Public Art Lab is a collective of architects, art historians, artists, creators of multimedia products, musicians, all gathered in a non-governmental organization structured as an open platform developing and producing works of ‘nomadic’ art. Active for several years in Europe, the group brought in Berlin, Vienna, Belgrade, Sophia projects such as the ‘mobile museums’ and the ‘mobile studios’. A creative community promoting shared art, meant to be implemented in public spaces. In the works produced by Public Art Lab, urban architectural elements are often integrated into new digital tools. Concrete, mobile, public, virtual art.
Public Art Lab has organized the Media Facades Festival Europe 2010.
