“Identity at the Centre”: Saturday 29th January the event for the conclusion of the project for the improvement of the historic centre of Montevarchi
“Identità al Centro”, (“Identity at the Centre”), the project for the redevelopment of Montevarchi city centre, coordinated by artway of thinking, arrives at its conclusion Saturday 29th January 2011. The theatre workshop "The centre becomes theatre" was the last step of the participatory process of the citizens, through it the themes emerged in the previous phases of the project have been elaborated and transformed in creative expression, lead by the theatre director Francesco Manetti and some professional actors.
Saturday from 5.00 pm on, the city centre of Montevarchi, with its squares and streets, will transform itself in a stage for the citizens, in a performance that sets on stage subjects such as the other, who's my neighbour?, what is home for me?
To follow, at 6.30 pm at Centro Polivalente La Bartolea, a public event during which the operators and coordinators of the project (artway of thinking, Snark, Giovani Partecipazioni, Macma, Love Difference) will consign to Public Government and citizenship the results of the whole project, translated into technical data and numbers the dreams, wishes and proposals emerged from citizens selves through all the activities of the program, from the dinners of "Andar per case" curated by Love Difference, to the photographic walk "Andar per piazze", from the open events "Il centro che vorrei" and "Insieme si sceglie", to the technical meetings at the city counter, run by Snark.
