Art at the Centre of a Responsible Social Transformation 2006: game. The ninth edition of Cittadellarte’s art event opens on June 23-24-25
Cittadellarte, as part of the annual review Art at the Centre (IX edition), asks the artists and the public to play with Responsible Social Transformation, presenting projects by international artists and groups that use play as a tool for investigating, communicating and intervening in the various fields of the social sphere. Love Difference presents Europoly - The European Union Identity Trading Game, project by Dejan Kaludjerovic in collaboration with the European Cultural Foundation, and the Tavolo Mediterraneo - Love Difference - meeting place by Michelangelo Pistoletto.Within a physical and virtual architecture, represented by the work Porte Uffizi by Michelangelo Pistoletto, the invitation to visitors is to enter a different dimension, structured according to the various rules of the game, to obtain a critical interpretation of reality and communicate concrete experiences of social transformation.
On display works by Emilio Fantin, Dejan Kaludjerovic, Beatrice Catanzaro with Michele Fontana, Raphaelle De Groot, Andreja Kuluncic, Big Hope, Michael Aschauer, Maia Gusberti, Sepp Deinhofer, Nik Thoenen. Moreover, as side events: Third Paradise, in collaboration with the Education Department of Castello di Rivoli Museum and the National Association for Aluminium Recycling; Abi-tanti, curated by Anna Pironti (head of Castello di Rivoli Education department); Criminal Mouse, a project by Emilia Patruno, realized by inmates at San Vittore prison.
Exhibitions, cinema and literature meetings and related events will last until November 12.
