The fourth session of the European Cultural Parlament in Lisbon, 2-4 December 2005
The fourth session of the European Cultural Parliament (ECP), of which Michelangelo Pistoletto is member, will be held in Lisbon on 2 - 4 December 2005. The session will be held in the conference centre of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Avenida de Berna 45 A, Lisbon.
The theme of the session is "How can European Culture promote European Cohesion?". The general theme will be addressed by various speakers, including key-note speakers in the plenary session. There will also be three sub-groups addressing "Culture and Government", "Culture and Civic Society", "Culture and Business".
Progress reports of some ECP projects which are in pipeline will be presented and the projects will be further discussed and/or addressed by various speakers. Some 80 - 100 Members of the ECP will participate. The session is also open to media and interested observers.
