Love Difference table football designed by Diego Paccagnella at Piemonte Torino Design exhibition: Turin, January 26th - March 19th
Eleven years after the exhibition “Turin Design. From car to spoon”, documenting in 1995 a first exploration in the design system of the region, Regione Piemonte, the City of Turin and the Society of Engineers and Architects of Turin present the exhibition “Piedmont Turin Design: industrial project culture in the region”, curated by Claudio Germak and Claudia De Giorgi. The travel bag of the astronauts and Valentino Rossi’s helmet, Michael Schumacher’s shoes and Borsalino hats, new Olivetti products and the unfailing Alessi, Abet, Gufram: more than 200 industrial products designed and/or produced in the Piedmont area by 150 designer and 170 firms. A picture of design in Piedmont, documenting their excellence. Products are organised in sections for different themes, with short introductions.
Love Difference presents at the exhibition the table football designed by Diego Paccagnella. Love Difference table football represents a point of meeting and play around the Mediterranean, to activate processes of social exchange and interaction between different cultures. The pitch of the "Love Difference Table Football" is a mirror in the shape of the Mediterranean seas, designed by Michelangelo Pistoletto. The players wear the shirts of the 22 different countries that face onto the Mediterranean: Italy, Spain, France, Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Monte Carlo.
Each Love Difference table football sold makes a contribution to the association to develop artistic projects for responsible social transformation in the Mediterranean.
