Emotional Geography: a meeting in Milan
to present Giuliana Bruno’s theory. Superstudiopiù –
Milan, on the 1st of December 2006
Emotions aroused by travel experiences,
the beauty of images in motion, the unveiling of inner maps and secret
gardens. The journey viewed as a feast of stimuli, involving several
forms of art such as painting, photography, film-making, architecture
and fashion. All this at the core of E-motion, the first event dedicated
to emotional geography, taking place at Superstudio Più (Milan,
Italy), 1-3 December.
Film-makers, photographers, architects, sociologists and art critics
all gathering to discuss the theory developed by Giuliana Bruno, Harvard
professor, and furthered by Aria, the first international magazine
dedicated to emotional geography. The event is supported by the City
of Milan and the Prime Minister.
A free admittance week-end, with a great variety of initiatives: films
and videos, dj sets, live music, performances, literary café,
brunch with authors, parties, workshops on innovative architecture.
