The Future of the Book: a blog on creative publishing from Cittadellarte's Communication Office
Since it was born, six months ago, it has already collected many different news and comments, divided in fifteen thematic areas, from creativity to geography of transformation: the brand new blog Il Futuro del Libro (the Future of the Book) is a project by Fondazione Pistoletto Publisher, curated by Alessandra Pagani. Cittadellarte's Communication Office Cittadellarte publishing house takes care of the editorial aim of Responsible Transformation of Society which is mainly disseminated through the annual “Progetto Arte - JOURNAL”, documenting all the theoretical and operational initiatives since the birth of Cittadellarte up to the present day. With the pubblication of a blog on the world of books, it aims to become an active observatory of creative publishing, promoting and inspiring a responsible transformation of society through creative projects, books, ethics, independent publishers, education, booksellers, networks. The blog is published in Italian language only.
Among most recent news on the blog, the conference to be held in Turin (Italy) on January 18-20 on contemporary African literature, hosting Nobel Prize Nadine Gordimer.
