At the borders: a workshop on sustainable architecture in Southern Italy. Taranto, from January 22nd to February 4th
"At the Borders 2007" is a series of conferences and workshop to be held in Kinoworkshop House in Taranto (Italy) from January 22 to February 4. It is an educational programme aiming to discuss problems in architectonical and urban-planning solutions for cities in Southern Italy. Six teachers from the Universities of Milan, Venice, Florence, Naples and Bari will guide 24 students in exploring possible solutions for the city of Taranto, featuring a wide industrial area. Along with the workshop, an exhibition on Maurice Nio "Snake Space": the Dutch architect will be present. Workshop fees: 150 € for students (including accomodation), 250 € for professionals.
