Call for Arts Managers Trainers at the European Cultural Foundation. Deadline for applications: 16 February 2007
The European Cultural Foundation is seeking experts, academics and professionals with knowledge and practical experience of arts management to assist its Capacity Development training for art organisations in Turkey, Moldova and Ukraine. The ECF's assists the professionalisation of the cultural sector in turbulent and uncertain environments of Europe. For forthcoming ECF initiatives in this field, a freelance team of lecturers, academics and experienced arts and culture practitioners is needed. They will provide on-demand training and consultancy at a series of weekend workshops in Turkey, Moldova and Ukraine from late 2007 until 2010.
Duties and responsibilities include developing arts management training modules and conducting training sessions with cultural managers and public administrators at the various project locations.
Candidates should have a relevant University degree and practical expertise in this field and in such international projects. They should have excellent English (and Russian, where appropriate) language skills, and they should also be able to prepare training curricula. The nature of the work requires that they be available to travel to the project countries three to four times a year for three-day weekend seminars. Prospective trainers are invited to submit their CV and a covering letter to the European Cultural Foundation no later than 16 February, 2007.
