Joint Israeli – Palestinian Summer Program: “Political Science and Middle East Studies” at Galillee College, 03 July –14 August 2007
Galillee College, Israel, invites students of History, Political Science, Middle East Studies and professionals interested in the Middle East to joint Israeli-Palestinian summer program, which is aimed at extending the participants knowledge of conditions, developments and trends in Israel, Palestinian territories and immediate surroundings. Participants will have a chance to attend lectures, take part in workshops as well as meeting with Palestinian NGOs, visit to a Jewish settlement, meeting with people from Arab villages in Israel, participating in a panel of representatives from the different political parties in Israel, meet with senior personnel in the field and mix with other students of their stature from all over the world. The 2006 edition hosted graduates and university students from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, UK and USA. The second edition is expected to attract world wide participants who are interested in the present situation of the Middle East.
