Explor-Art: a workshop of territorial exploration for young artists in Monza. Deadline for applications: 30 April 2007
Explor-Art workshop presents the territory of Monza and Brianza (Italy) as a source of inspiration for contemporary artistic research. Starting from the concrete observation of urban landscapes, the workshop invites the artists to share and discuss their impressions collected in the territory to face with an open insight the issue of public space and to define poetical and analytical scenarios within the scope of urban social public art. The call for application is open to students and artists between 20 and 35 years old from Milan area.
The artistic direction of AreaOdeon will select 7 artist to take part in the workshop in May and to show their works in the itinerant exhibition programmed in June and in autumn. Application deadline: 30 April 2007.
