In Puglia from 22nd to 31st May 2008 the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean. Love Difference workshop confirmed
The 13th edition of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM) was supposed to take place in Alexandria (Egypt) at the end of October – beginning of November 2007. Late in May the Biennale has been cancelled, due to difficulties in the organization.
The board of the International Association of the Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, during a meeting in Turin last 28th and 29th of September, has chosen the Region Puglia (Italy) to host the XIII edition of the Biennial, which will be held from 22 till 31 May 2008. A full programme is due to be published in the next few weeks.
The theme for the XIII Edition of the Biennial is: "Our Creative Diversity: kairos ". Many of the activities programmed for Alexandria have been confirmed, among which the second part of “Art for Social Transformation”, the professional course in residence on art practice for social transformation; the first part of the course has been completed at Cittadellarte (Biella) in June, with the collaboration of Love Difference.
