This week: Days of Contemporary Art are
days for study and fight
The Day of Contemporary Art, realised by
AMACI (Association of Contemporary Art Italian Museums), will offer
on Saturday 6 October 2007 hundreds of contemporary art events in
Italy. Among those, we'd like to point out “Fogli/e Scritte”
(an Italian word game between paper sheet and leaf), an artistic project
by Asilo Bianco Association in Ameno (Italy), a creative way to re-discover
and occupy our territory through art.
In Turin, at Accademia Albertina, “Leap. Into the Void”,
an exhibition developed from the workshop held at the Academy by Stalker/Osservatorio
Nomade for the project “Laboratorio”. Exhibition open
until 10 November 2007.
In these same days in Milan, artists, thinkers and common people are
fighting not to loose an important artistic space in Milan: the Casa
degli Artisti (Artists' House), recently closed by the City of Milan.
Finally, on Saturday 20 October at Turin Readers Club, the meeting
“Macramè – Mediterranean embroidery”, a project
for artistic and social cooperation in the Mediterranean Area. The
meeting will host speakers from Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, Museo Nazionale
del Cinema, Love Difference, Associazione a.titolo, Associazione ArteGiovane,
Associazione Mosaico Danza, CESAC, Xenia Ensamble.
