Third meeting of the Mediterranean Cultural Parliament

A meeting of the Mediterranean Cultural Parliament open to the public, around the Love Difference Table inside the exhibition dedicated to Cittadellarte at MAXXI in Rome.
An event organized in collaboration with Love Difference, Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto, RAM radioartemobile, Maxxi –Educational Department.
Following the meeting of 19 April in Rome and the international encounter in Marseille of 10/11 May on the theme “Mobilization and mobility”, representatives of the art, culture and political worlds meet here in the space dedicated to Cittadellarte and Michelangelo Pistoletto. Invited to the meeting are guests and members of the Cultural Parliament to take part in the initiative to bring forth ideas and contributions.
Special attention was dedicated to Northern African processes of social and political evolutions thanks to the participation of the Egyptian association Gudran for Art and Development from Alexandria, a collective group of artists and cultural operators, active representatives of the Arabic revolution, who for several years, have been promoters of social transformation through arts and culture.
For the occasion, a video was shown by the artist Maria Rosa Jijon during the Marseille meeting.
The goal of this encounter was to share the document edited in Marseille on the role of culture in political and social transformative processes and to predispose the bases to integrate the vision and mission of the Mediterranean Cultural Parliament into the future projects of those joining the network.
