ArtExperience, two summer workshops at Domus Academy: Olafur Eliasson and Carsten Nicolai in June in Venice
Domus Academy and Progetto Italia presented the second edition of ArtExperience: two programs of seminars, conferences and events on contemporary arts, which will take place in Venice in June, along with the opening of the Venice Biennale.
ArtExperience 2005 deals in different ways with the relationships between art, sound, architecture, and technology. ArtExperience is an education project by Domus Academy, involving every year prominent personalities in the arts culture, and publishing. The program includes public events and two workshops (taught in English). Participants to the workshops will be selected on the basis of c.v. and motivation letter; Domus Academy offers some scholarships for merit.
2005 program includes two major events: 6-10 June “Modelmania” at Telecom Italia Future Centre in Venice, artexperience with Olafur Eliasson, curated by Maurizio Bortolotti, seminars conducted by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Kjetil Thorsen (deadline for application 13th May); 23-26 of June, “Sound Spaces – Atmosphere”, artexperience with Carsten Nicolai (deadline for application 20th May).
