Morocco working for the protection and promotion of Amazigh culture
Moroccan Press Agency MAP reported last week a declaration by the Minister of the Communication and government spokesman, Mohamed Nabil Benabdallh: the Minister said that the promotion of the Berber Amazigh culture is a priority in order to build up a society truly Democratic in Morocco. In a press release about Berber culture in Moroccan media, Benabdallah recalled that last July his minister signed an agreement with the Royal Institute for Culture (Ircam), in order to create a commission to check that publishing and TV companies dedicate the right room to the Amazigh culture.
