At the Philadelphia Museum of Art from November the 2nd 2010 to January the 17th 2011 the two exhibitions "Michelangelo Pistoletto: From One to Many, 1956–1974" and "Michelangelo Pistoletto: Cittadellarte"
In the within of the second exhibition Love Difference has been invited for three days of activity, in collaboration with the excellent Educational Department of the Museum of Art.
Emanuela Baldi (Love Difference coordinator) met two students classes who took part at the After School Program of the Museum and the students' group of the Summer Program, who already have worked about Love Difference during July and August 2010, giving also life to a conclusive collective happening at the Love Park in July.
The students of the "Martha Washington School" and of the "The Russell Byers School" (11/12 years old) together with their teachers experienced through Experience Love Difference a path of participation, observation and relation.
Through filtered perception exercises of the museum space, activities and exchange of knowledge and feelings around the Love Difference Table, exploring senses and perception around the park of the Museum, and also through a collective composition realized with picked up objects and an emotional restitution (exercises used by Love Difference's partner artway of thinking), the students have been given an understanding about changing a point of view and what dialogue means to Love Difference, also learning new ways to share creativity.
Themeeting with the group of the "Delphi Summer Teen Film Program" was an occasion to meet up after some months the same students who had participated in the course with their teachers as well as some new fellows.
It was an afternoon to share the experience of the last Summer, to renovate friendships, to exchange emotions, to evaluate the personal heritage gained through this formative course inspired by Love Difference and to see the preview of the video realized at the Love Park.
It was an amazing work carefully lead with passion by the teachers and the coordinators of the program, who were able to catch, to transfer and to develop a love for differences.
